Report a bug
How do I fill out a bug report?
Please visit our Mantis bug database and click "Report Issue". Use the template found in "What type of information should I provide in my bug report?"
Do I need to have a Mantis account?
Yes, this is so we can track your bugs as well as reduce spam.
I crashed, what do I do?
Whenever you crash you should be presented with a window to send the crash information to us. Please always do so. Also please always be sure to fill out the description of what led up to the crash. We track crash logs very closely and descriptions of the circumstances are very valuable to us.
Please include your email address so we can get back to you for more information.
What type of information should I provide in my bug report?
First and most important is a thorough description of the problem and what occurred leading up the issue. The more information you provide us the faster we can reproduce your issue and start working on a fix.
Always provide what operating system you are running when encountering the issue, Mac or Windows and the version.
Set the product version of the report to the version of the software you are testing.
Screenshots are very valuable to us and help speed the process of identifying bugs.
Any additional information that you feel might be useful to us, such as testing results on other hardware or by other players on different accounts.
You should use this template:
- Summary:
- Expected Results:
- Actual Results:
- System Info:
- Are you using QuickTime?
- If yes, which version?
- What is the color depth of your desktop? (usually 16 or 32 bit)
- What is the speed of your computer?
- How much free disk space you have?
